Halloween help!

Hello everybody! Stanley and I are having a San Diego Halloween party and we need fun game ideas! We're going to have the donut on a string game and I've found a few others, but if you have any ideas, please let me know! I'm good with food and decorations, but games? Not so much...haha

If it's for kids then here's a few ideas: get glow in the dark helium ballons, draw scarey ghost faces on them. Tie random size candy bars on the strings close to the balloon so they will float at different heights and cut the remaining string off. Turn off most lights and have a ghost hunt. Use fishing nets to catch them and put them in jail (under a laundry basket). OR a balloon stomp: tie balloons on their ankles and they have to stomp on each others balloons - try to be the last one with a balloon that isn't popped! Spooky scavenger hunts w/flashlights and strobe lights are always a hit! Make graveyards out of pudding, covered w/smashed oreos for dirt and keebler sandwich cookies that are oblong & cut in half make tombstones. gummy worms can be added and rock candy for more graveyard effects w/pumpkins randomly around too. Just put it on a paperplate.
Good luck!

There are some good group games you could play with adults. Mafia is always a hit. Or you could play the name game; there are a couple different versions of this. version 1: put a sticker with a different halloween character on everyone's back, then they have to discover who they are by asking questions to the other party goers. This is fun and a great way to start the party and get everyone to mingle. Ryan and I just did this at our party. Version 2: everyone writes a name on a piece of paper (usually from the same topic: like halloween, disney, bible, etc.) then one person (usually doesn't play game) reads them all twice and that's the most anyone hears the names. after that you go around in a circle with each person trying to guess someone else's 'name' if they guess correctly, that person has to go be on the guessers team and they go again, until they guess wrong. The person with the biggest team wins. Kind of complicated, but if you want to play this and have questions you can call me. 801-388-9030
There's also a game called 4 men on a couch. This is too complicated to write down though. I'm sure some of your guests will have good ideas too.
