Time to Catch Up!

Sorry we haven't posted in a while! Been slacking... Here's what we have been up to:

-Richard, Lindsey, & Kylee came to visit for a few days. We had a great time going to the beach, boogie boarding, and looking at the tidepools (we found some neat Crabs and a big starfish!). Kylee was running in the sand until her feet touched the water- she stopped suddenly and looked straight down like "what the?" haha!

-Stan has been taking a class to get his insurance salesman license, so he's been busy taking care of that so he can start working!

- I have been working at a Racquet club as a summer camp counselor- it has been a lot of fun so far working with the kids!

-Stan's sister Carol & her friend Bekka came to visit for a few days- we took them to the beach, Hodad's (best burger place in San Diego), to the mall, & some other touristy places :)

-We went to the San Diego County Fair with our friends Karl & Maribel- it was awesome! There was a ton of artwork, farm animals, rides, & good food! There was also some really nasty food- like deep fried cubes of butter! Super gross! We actually saw some people eating them! There was also chocolate covered bacon.

-I was called to be the Assistant Camp Director & camp was two weeks ago. We went to Lake Silverwood- it was great to get to know the Young Women! I also learned how to make Woof em's! Has anyone ever heard of them?? You toast those flaky biscuits over the fire (using a metal stick that has a wood cylinder at the end), then after its cooked you fill the biscuit with pie filling (any kind), top it with whipped cream, then eat it all in one bite! It is so delicious!

-We have been packing & getting ready to move to mission valley! woo hoo!

We have been keeping pretty busy, but things are going good :)
